According to those who have visited Abadiania, simply being in this small village surrounding the Casa is a healing process in itself. Here, thousands of people from all walks of life and all corners of the world converge for the purpose of being healed, or to assist in the healing of others. There is the sense of great love, and the experience of knowing that this is where one is meant to be - and then meeting others who feel the same way. There is a closeness born from gathering with many for the purpose of engaging in sacred inner work, a closeness that continues long after returning home.

John of God makes no promises that anyone will return home differently from when they arrived. But what can be promised is a two week inner journey and the riches that such a journey provides. For whether you are looking for physical healing, emotional healing, or spiritual healing, or whether you are simply looking to deepen your personal journey, we are offering a two week opportunity to engage with the mysteries of life with a willingness to be open to whatever is meant to result.
Not everyone who sees John of God receives obvious miracles. Sometimes results are slow in coming, such as the man who returned to the Casa eight or nine times over a three year period before his sight was restored. Sometimes nothing seems to happen, and people's conditions remain unchanged. Sometimes healings take place on an emotional and spiritual level that cannot be measured in physical terms or seen by the eye. And sometimes healings take place in spite of there not being a cure.
During morning and afternoon sessions at the Casa, you will be passing in front of John of God, who will be in trance, allowing the healing spirits of deceased doctors, surgeons, masters, and saints to work through him. And although John is channeling the likes of Saint Francis Xavier, cofounder of the Jesuits, and Saint Ignatius of Loyala, a priest and nobleman from the 16th century, as well as notable doctors and surgeons, John makes it clear that the Casa is not a church, but rather, a spiritual hospital. "My mission has nothing to do with religion," he says.
When not passing in front of the "entities," as these healing spirits are called, you will be invited to "sit in the current," which means meditating in silence in the room within which John is working, a practice that is as powerful as the time actually spent engaged one-on-one. Later, you will be able to wander the Casa grounds, filled with flowers and fruit trees and big wooden benches where people sit in quiet reflection and meditation, overlooking the beautiful valley below.

And that's the truth to keep in mind when deciding whether or not this trip is meant for you. Despite many awe-inspiring stories of physical, emotional, and spiritual healings, not everyone walks away with the healing they desired. Oftentimes, the physical disappearance of symptoms is the last thing to be noticed as a deeper spiritual healing is taking place. In the words of John of God translator, Heather Cumming, "Healing takes different forms. Sometimes the soul makes great strides but the body isn't able to keep pace. It is human nature to hope for the quick reversal, the sudden recovery. But the path might be more twisted and longer than expected."

Arrive in Brasilia, Brazil where you will be met at the airport by a member of our team, who will escort you via private driver to our accommodations in Abadiania.
Leave Sunday, Week 2
Return by private driver to the airport in Brasilia for your return flight home
Accommodations
Accommodations will be at the Pousada Irmão Sol Irmã Lua, a guest house owned by the husband and wife team of Martin and Fernanda Mosqueira. Martin is a translator for John of God, and brings an insider's knowledge to our tour. Rooms are simple and the large garden and patio area provide tranquil space for comfortable dining. 3 meals per day are included in your price.

Brasilia, Brazil
The Temple of Good Will is an interfaith center for love, understanding, meditation, and the practice of spiritual diversity. Inside its 7-sided pyramid shape is housed the largest crystal ever found in Brazil, which hangs suspended above a grand labyrinth. Visitors are encouraged to walk the labyrinth barefoot and while in meditation, following the spiral to its center, and then back out again, capturing the energy of the crystal in the process.
Sacred Waterfall

The waterfall is a short cab ride away and also a brief walk from the Casa.
Bathing in its waters is said to deepen your spiritual work.
Spending time at the waterfall requires permission from John of God.
